About
We’re Everyone Here, a new community arts programme based in West Cumbria.
We believe creativity is for everyone and can be explored, expressed and enjoyed in many ways. It’s a powerful tool that brings value to people’s lives and can inspire real change in the place we call home.
To help local communities bring to life the kind of creative activity they want to experience on their own doorstep, we’re establishing a citizens-led vision for creative activities and events here in West Cumbria in partnership with local people and organisations.
By doing this we hope to not only provide high quality creative opportunities for everyone in West Cumbria but to develop the diversity of people and processes delivering, deciding upon and attending creative and cultural events here in West Cumbria.
Our programme of events and projects will build on the already great work done in West Cumbria, making sure that access to making, watching and being creative is something that everyone can be a part of.
Our Values
For everyone here
We believe in a people led approach centering our community at the heart of what we do. We seek to enable equity, always asking who is at the table? If they are not there, why not?
Collective imagination
We believe the collective imagination of a place can dream up any solution to any problem. We can answer any question. Most importantly, together we can imagine and shape a joyful and just future.
The power of culture and creativity
Culture and creativity is what makes us human, it runs through everything. We want to place culture and creativity at the heart of everyone’s everyday life here in West Cumbria.
Our Patch
Everyone Here covers West Cumbria (the old Allerdale and Copeland areas) and includes these parishes…
Arlecdon and Frizington
Cleator Moor

Our Funding
Everyone Here is one of 39 Creative People and Places (CPP) projects supported by Arts Council England. The programme allows organisations like us to work with communities so they can choose the creativity and culture on offer in their local area. And it’s made possible thanks to National Lottery players, who raise £30 million for Good Causes each week.
