Baton of Hope – Sensory World Spark Bus

As part of the Baton of Hope’s visit to Whitehaven, we’re teaming up with Hope Haven to create a calm and welcoming space in the town centre.

The Spark Bus will be transformed into Sensory World – a peaceful environment where visitors can relax on a “cloud” and experience a specially created video by Natalie Sharp, designed to challenge existing frameworks and expectations. Gentle lighting will add to the calm and soothing atmosphere.

Outside the bus, a “Tree of Hope” will invite people to pin up positive messages, share things that bring them joy, or offer words of encouragement. Visitors are also welcome to take a message away with them – a reminder of support and hope to carry forward.
