Everyone Here is a community arts programme based in West Cumbria. We’re establishing a long-term citizens-led programme of creative activities and events led by and for the people of West Cumbria.
We are led by ACTion with Communities in Cumbria whose charity number is 1080875. Our company number is 3957858.

Why We Collect Your Data
We collect data to make our projects and events as inclusive and accessible as possible. This includes using your data to:
- Communicate with you about your participation and any updates related to our projects.
- Ensure our projects are as representative and inclusive as possible.
- Process any incentives or reimbursements we offer for participation.
- Improve our projects and tailor them to the needs of the West Cumbrian community.
What Data We Collect
The information we collect might include your name, address, email address, phone number, demographic information (such as age, gender, ethnicity etc.), accessibility requirements, and any other information relevant to your participation in our projects.
How We Collect Your Data
All of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you. This could be via:
- You completing a project registration form
- You submitting a subscription request to our our newsletter
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
- Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time.

- We need it to perform a public task.
- We have a legitimate interest.
How Your Data Is Used
We may use your data to:
- Contact you about projects and events we are running
- Ensure our projects are tailored to meet the diverse needs of the community.
- Analyse the effectiveness of our projects and report on their outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring any personal data is anonymised.
How We Store Your Data
Your data is securely stored:
- At our office in Whitehaven.
- In a password protected online database that is only accessible by the Everyone Here Data Officer.
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. But for us to receive funding we will need to share anonymized data with our funders.
We keep contact details for 3 years. After 3 years, we will contact you to ask for permission to continue to hold your data, if we have no response, we then dispose of your information by deleting it from our database.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:
- Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
- Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
- Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
- Your right to object to processing – You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
