Live Music from Sam Kelly & Jamie Francis

8pm – 10pm
The Old Mill Restaurant

Sam Kelly is a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He loves the sounds of his Gaelic heritage, and creates exciting new music that blurs the boundaries of traditional and popular music.

Jamie Francis is a Cockermouth based banjo player, guitarist and songwriter. He started gigging at the age of 12, and grew up surrounded by both the blues music popular in his home town of Maryport, and the Irish folk music played by his father. His playing and songwriting styles reflect these varied influences.

From Sam and Jamie, expect to hear haunting harmonies, top tunes and melodies, charming anecdotes and quality instrumental performances, all led by Sam’s unmistakable vocals.
