MillomFest

MillomFest is a new carnival-themed festival organised by members of the local community. 

Inspired by the carnivals that used to take place in Millom, community members Sarah Sharpe, Caitlyn Sharpe, Hannah Kessler, Berryl Worrall and Emma Clayton have formed the MillomFest Committee to make this vision a reality.

The event will be packed with games, bouncy castles, rides, stalls and dance performances. Live music will also add to the spectacle with performances from Drum Nation, The Cotton Bobbins, The Gears and The Aerobees. There will be competitions throughout the day and visitors are encouraged to wear fancy dress.

MilliomFest aims to offer families an opportunity to create wonderful memories by providing a low-cost event, encouraging those affected by the cost of living crisis to get involved.

The committee say that they “want to provide an event to bring the community together and put life into the town”
