Trainee Creative Production Manager / Trainee Creative Producer Opportunity – Workington
Are you passionate about creativity, community and making things happen in Workington?
Everyone Here is looking for a trainee to join us between June 2026 and January 2027 as part of our festival and events programme. This is a paid opportunity designed for someone excited by community-led arts, as part of our collaboration with Workington Town Council on their festival and events programme. whether you’re just starting out or looking to build confidence and experience in the sector.
The successful applicant will develop experience across both creative producing and production management, while identifying an area of particular interest to focus on throughout the placement.
You do not need formal qualifications or extensive experience. We are looking for enthusiasm, reliability, curiosity and someone ready to get stuck in.
The Opportunity
You will gain hands-on experience supporting:
• Festivals and public events
• Artists, performers and community activity
• Event set-up and coordination
• Creative programming and producing
• Production scheduling and logistics
• Communications and engagement
• Community participation and workshops
• Practical delivery and problem solving
The role will include attending workshops, networking events and hands-on delivery activity across the programme. There may also be opportunities for additional paid hours depending on project activity and availability.
This is a fast-paced opportunity with lots of learning through doing.
What You’ll Receive
• 25 paid days at £100 per day
• Timeline: June 2026 – January 2027
